Already waiting for oral surgery?
You may already have seen your dentist, had X-rays taken and been referred for specialist treatment. Choosing to explore private treatment does not necessarily mean starting the process from the beginning.
Already have a referral?
If you have or can obtain a copy of your referral letter, you can send it to us before your appointment so our team can review the information already available.
Already had X-rays or scans?
We can review suitable existing imaging where available. Further imaging is only arranged where clinically required following your assessment.
Not sure exactly what you need?
That is completely fine. Your £80 oral surgery consultation is designed to assess your needs, explain your options and confirm the treatment cost before you decide how you would like to proceed.
Consultation and treatment may be possible in one visit
We know that if you've already been waiting for treatment, the last thing you want is another lengthy process. Where clinically appropriate, your assessment and treatment under local anaesthetic can often take place during the same appointment.
Consultation
Your clinician will review your dental and medical history, examine the area and assess any referral information, X-rays or scans already available.
Your options
We'll explain our findings, the treatment recommended, the relevant risks and benefits, and the exact cost before you decide whether you would like to proceed.
Treatment
Where clinically appropriate, treatment under local anaesthetic can often be carried out during the same appointment.
When might I need another appointment?
Sometimes treatment needs to be arranged for another day, for example if further imaging or medical information is required, the procedure needs additional planning, or you would prefer more time to consider your options.
If you choose IV sedation, your treatment will always be arranged for a separate appointment.
Clear, transparent pricing
You'll know the cost of your treatment before you decide whether to proceed. Diagnostic imaging is only arranged where clinically required.
Prefer to spread the cost? 0% finance is available for up to 24 months.
Once you've had your consultation and your treatment plan and cost have been confirmed, eligible patients can apply to spread the cost of treatment using our 0% finance options.
The £80 consultation fee is paid separately and is not included in the finance arrangement.
Experienced care for complex extractions
Oral surgery can feel daunting, especially if you've already been waiting for treatment. Our aim is to make the process clear, calm and straightforward from your first consultation through to treatment and recovery.
Experienced oral surgery team
Your consultation will be carried out by a specialist or a dentist accredited in oral surgery, with experience in managing complex extractions and wisdom teeth.
Advanced imaging when needed
OPG and CBCT imaging are available where clinically indicated, helping your clinician assess anatomy and plan treatment appropriately.
Clear explanations before treatment
We'll explain your findings, treatment options, risks, benefits and costs so you can make an informed decision about how you would like to proceed.
Feeling anxious about treatment?
If you're particularly anxious or your procedure may benefit from additional support, IV sedation may be an option. Sedation is designed to help you feel more relaxed during treatment while remaining conscious and able to respond to the clinical team.
IV sedation costs £245. Treatment under IV sedation cannot be carried out at your consultation and will always require a separate appointment.
